Holiday Cottages and Other Accommodation

The South West of the United Kingdom is full of incredible scenery and places to visit. The Port and Starboard is situated deep into the beautiful county of Cornwall, not far from Newquay, mid way between Bodmin and Truro. If you are thinking of holidays in Cornwall, then there are endless options of accommodation and perfect locations to stay.

To the east is Wadebridge which acts as a gateway to the beautiful Camel Estuary. Excellent five star cottages can be found at Rooke Cottages (www.rookecottages.net), based outside Chapel Amble. They are deep in Duchy of Cornwall farmland and close to the beaches of Rock and Polzeath.

Newquay, to the north of us, is well known throughout the world as a prime destination. There are campsites and holiday parks galore, along with hotels, bed and breakfasts and self catering cottages. All this so close to golden beaches, perfect for surfing. Family holidays are catered for as they always have been, but in recent years, there has been new facilities for surfers to use.

St. Austell to the south sits close to the Eden Project and Mevagissey, two locations that require visits. Don't forget Charlestown as well, where so many costume dramas have been filmed.
